The midnight coating is stunning in person—the dark finish picks up light way better than the photos suggest. Assembly took patience with the ABS parts, but everything clicked together tight, and those beam rifles look sharp on the display stand.
The two beam rifles and sabers fit snugly in the hands without any loose wobble, which surprised me for a third-party kit. Assembly took patience, but the midnight coating gives it a glossy, almost wet look that photos don't do justice. Definitely worth the money if you're okay with some tight joint
The midnight coating is what sold me, and it doesn't disappoint in person—the dark metallic finish catches light in a way that plain plastic never could. Snapping together those twin beam rifles was fiddly, but the frame holding the pose with the sabers out looks incredible on my shelf.
