It took me a few evenings to finish, but the detail on this MGEX Banshee is seriously impressive for a third-party kit. The LED unit really makes the frame pop once you get it wired up, and the sculpted armor panels feel way more premium than the price suggests.
The joint tolerances on this third-party kit are surprisingly tight for the price—everything snaps together without needing glue. I’m about halfway through the frame and the included LED unit wiring channels are already making the inner structure look properly menacing.
The LED unit really steals the show—watching the frame light up after snapping the armor on was the highlight of my weekend build. For a third-party kit, the surface detail is surprisingly crisp, though you’ll want your own nippers ready.
